Why I Entered Medicine
I started out as a paramedic in Pittsburgh, then went into nursing, then ED nursing to flight nursing and administration. I went back to school for my MSN, then doctoral work, then my CRNP and back to the Emergency Department — my first love. I know this sounds kind of old-fashioned, but I want to help people who really need the care.

Under the new partnership, students who graduate with a Wilson MSN degree and have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average will be guaranteed admission to the 18-month Widener program. Credits will be transferred between programs and institutions, Hart said.
