Aqua Therapy
Aqua therapy offers multiple benefits including less pain during rehab, a speedier recovery, and for someone with limited physical endurance on land, the opportunity to perform more beneficial strength training or walking exercises. The warm water temperature also provides vasodilation of peripheral blood vessels, which in turn improves circulation and can reduce swelling. Vasodilation also increases the circulation of endorphins, which are natural pain relievers.

For patients transitioning from hospital to home following surgery, an accident or serious illness, we offer high quality restorative care, including specialized nursing and rehabilitation services for LVAD patients and patients with complex respiratory conditions.
Adhering to the most advanced care protocols, our interdisciplinary team of doctors, APRNs, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, and recreational program directors meet daily to review each patients file, creating an ongoing care plan to help our patients recover faster and more completely and avoid unnecessary hospital re-admissions.
