Many post bacc programs support the non-academic components of your application including extracurriculars for medical school that will bolster your application. Many programs also offer seminars on MCAT preparation for those who have not yet written their MCAT or who want to improve their score, as well as medical school application seminars that outline the process.

Helps Enhance Your Med School Application

When working on your applications, you need to make sure you are doing well on your academic and non-academic components. Even if you have an amazing GPA and MCAT score, shadowing, research experience, and volunteer work will also be beneficial.

Post-bacc programs for med school usually offer these kinds of opportunities and guidance on other aspects that need further improvement. Another thing that you might get from this is a possibility of a medical school recommendation letter from your supervisor if youve shown great problem-solving, collaborative, and analytical skills.
