Hear What Our Students Say
âI always dreamed of becoming a nurse, but I always have the fear to pursue it due to the fact of failure and not able to understand everything. But my instructor at Palm Beach International College, Mrs. Lane, took her time to explain the terms and making sure we all understand the lessons she is providing us. Now I can say I am more confident, and I defeated my fear of pursuing my dream. I am grateful and thankful for everything.â – Fallande Philemon, RN Student
âMy name is Ifeoma Otisi, I started Palm Beach International College in December with Ms. Lane as my professor. Being in class with Ms. Lane, it has been remarkably interesting from day to present. Ms. Lane is an exceptionally good teacher, she knows what sheâs doing, she has patience with everyone, and she answers all studentsâ questions. She always tells us to ask any questions because no question is a stupid question. Above all, I have learned a lot from being in her class. I am so happy and proud to be in her class.â – Ifeoma Otisi, RN Student

What Our Alumni Are Saying
âChoosing Keiser was instrumental because they offered small class sizes and the faculty provided one-on-one time with all of the students. Being in an online program, it is essential to have someone accessible to you and the faculty was always there when we needed them. I was also impressed at the structure, organization and curriculum for the program at Keiser.â
Osmara Cailam, RN, MSNMaster of Science in Nursing Graduate
âI really enjoyed the small class sizes and having an advisor at the campus who was able to guide me when I needed advice. I could take the program online, which helped tremendously as I was staying home with my children. Being able to do my schoolwork on my own timetable helped me to be accessible for my children and my husband.â
Danna Murphy, RN, MSNMaster of Science in Nursing Graduate
âThe Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Keiser University is an excellent program managed by a group of dynamic and dedicated professional educators. During my time at Keiser University, there was never a moment when I felt alone or lost. PITTSBURGH
When several nursing students went to a restaurant on Wednesday in their pajamas after their last day of nursing school, they were there to celebrate, talk about their goals and challenges.
âItâs kind of a scary time. The staffing ratio is very dangerous,â Melea Cranmer said.
Cranmer was with four other nurses including Karie McCafferty, Britta Wickles, Heather Waters and Amanda Smith. The women said they had become close over the past 16 months of school.
âThis lady sat down next to us shortly after with maybe her 3-year-old,â Wickles said. âHe was so cute. We couldnât help but turn around and talk to him and wave to him.â
When the mother and her son left, the women said their server handed them their check and told them it had been paid for but on the back was a handwritten note.
It read:
âOne of my closest friends is a nurse and from what I gathered, you guys are in health care as well. My friend has told me horror stories about how unfair you are being treated by a toxic system. So I wanted to thank you for everything you have sacrificed despite the conditions you are made to work. Happy Holidays and a huge Thank You!â
The nurses hope that the woman who paid their tab knows how much her generosity means.
