Each term the Crawford Success Center offers classes for students interested in completing an associate degree. The course selections are tailored so you can complete general education classes before moving to NC State main campus, the Shelby Kehoe Center, or online. We also offer a Practical Nursing Certificate program here at the CSC.

The Crawford Success Center offers state of the art technology. Students can come to the CSC and complete course work in the computer lab or in the collaborative learning area, as well as the nursing lab which opened in 2018.

Nursing Articulation Option Aas

The Practical Nursing Articulation Option of the Associate Degree Nursing program contains a sequence of clinical classes that begins in the Summer semester each year. Entrance into this clinical sequence is limited to students who have successfully completed the entrance requirements. Copies of the entrance requirements are available from the Admissions Office. An acceptable Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation report/FBI background check and drug screening are required in order to enter the clinical sequence.

The Nursing Department publishes a Program Policy and Procedure Manual which delineates specific department/ program policies which are not explained in the general catalog. The specific policies as described in the departments Policy and Procedure Manual take precedence over any general policy outlined in the College catalog. A copy of the Policy and Procedure Manual is available in the Admissions Office.

Students may begin nonRNUR courses any semester. A minimum grade of 77% is required in all nonRNUR courses and all RNUR classes in order to meet prerequisite and graduation requirements.

The Associate of Applied Science degree is awarded for the completion of this program.

Northcentral Universitys Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy Programs are also accredited by the International Accreditation Commission for Systemic Therapy Education . North Central University, NC

North Central State College has received approval to confer a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing as a completion degree for students who have completed their Associate Degree in Registered Nursing.

Approval for the completion program was granted to allow NC State to continue working closely with area healthcare providers to meet the critical need for nurses, and the advanced training required for career advancement.

Dorey Diab, President of NC State has been eager to share this news and begin serving our community partners at this new level.
