The Doctor of Nursing Practice degree is the terminal practice degree for the profession of nursing. Two pathways to a Master of Science in Nursing are offered through Millikin Universitys School of Nursing: a traditional BSN to MSN pathway as well as a Direct Entry pathway called the Masters Entry in Nursing Practice: Pre-licensure program .
Those non-nurses who hold a Bachelors degree in a non-nursing field who are interested in entering the field of nursing can do so through the Direct Entry MENP-PL program. The program prepares students to take the National Council of State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam in any state so that they can become an RN as well as the Clinical Nurse Leader certification exam.

Ryan Lewis, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, was appointed the lead nurse practitioner at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. In his role, Lewis will begin to integrate primary care services and consultation into the schools patient care operations.
The UNC Adams School of Dentistry is leading the way in providing whole person healthcare to its patients by having Ryan Lewis and integrating primary care services and consultation for patients at the school, said Director of Interprofessional Education and Practice, Katharine Ciarrocca, DMD, MSEd.
