Since My First Day At The Greencross Clinic I Have Felt Welcome As Part Of The Family

Since my first day at the Greencross clinic I have felt welcome as part of the family. I started the Internship because I care greatly for animals and love the impact they have on my life. Everyone at my clinic seems to feel the same. I completed a certificate II in animal studies with the Internship and am currently undertaking studies for Certificate IV.

The practical nature of the Internship has given context to my course-work, and greatly accelerated my learning. I recommend the course to anyone considering becoming a veterinary nurse. The structure of the program, and the friendly like-minded people of Greencross make it a wonderful path to follow.

I feel very fortunate to have been chosen to participate in the Greencross Vet Nurse Internship Program. The knowledge and experience I have gained through the program has been invaluable and has helped me gain employment in the industry. Florida Board Of Nursing Approved Remedial Courses

Upon completion of the approved Remedial Course, the Board office will only accept an electronically submitted letter of verification on the providers official letterhead. The letter must bear the remedial course directors original signature as proof of authenticity.

Applicants who have failed the NCLEX three consecutive times will require a letter to begin the remedial course. To obtain a letter, please email . Applicants will be notified by the Licensure Unit of this requirement.

Applicants who do not hold an active license, have not practiced in the past five years, and are applying for licensure by endorsement based on having previously passed the State Board Test Pool Examination or the NCLEX, will require a letter of authorization to complete the clinical component of the remedial course. Premera Blue Cross announced this week they would be making a $1.8 million investment to address the critical shortage of nurses in the region. The grant will establish a new academic pathway at four colleges in Washington to increase opportunities and remove barriers for Licensed Practical Nurses to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing . Green River College is among the four colleges.

The new academic pathway program will launch at Green River College to help address the critical shortage of nurses throughout Washington. A goal of the program will increase opportunities and removed barriers for Licensed Practical Nurses to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. More people earning a BSN degree will improve the workforce pipeline and improve the quality of patient care.

Its predicted that one million new Registered Nurses will be needed by 2030 to address the severe shortages impacting hospitals and clinics, yet nursing schools turned away more than 80,000 qualified bachelors and higher-level nursing degree applicants in 2020 due to shortages of faculty, clinical sites, and other resources.

Nurse educators are typically required to have an advanced nursing degree, so this program will support the expansion of educational opportunities for future nurses. Studies also show that RNs who have completed their BSN degree have been linked to better patient care and overall health outcomes, due in part to their more extensive training.
