Judy Kronenberger Announced As President Of Good Samaritan College Of Nursing And Health Science
I am pleased to announce that after an extensive search and selection process that Judy Kronenberger, Ph. D., currently our Interim President, will transition to a new permanent role as our President of the Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science. Judy possesses more than 20 years of experience in higher education as both a faculty member and as a leader in growing programs to serve health care systems, communities, and most importantly, the patients who seek our healthcare services.
Judy first joined TriHealth as the Academic Dean for General Education and Allied Health. While serving in that role, she was tasked with several core responsibilities at the college, including:
- Providing oversight and guidance of all aspects of the curriculums for general education and allied health
- Developing allied health programs, including the medical assistant and pharmacy technician courses
Judy took on additional responsibilities while serving as the Interim President since February 2019. Through her leadership, the college experienced a significant increase in team member engagement scores throughout the year. It was also during this time that Judy increased her knowledge of regulatory standards for higher education with agencies such as the Ohio Department of Higher Education, the Higher Learning Commission, and programmatic accreditors.

Judy Kronenberger, Ph. D., has been named President of the Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science. Minimum Requirements For Nursing Admission
- High School GPA or Cumulative College GPA of 2.5 or higher or successfully completed GED with minimum scores of 2250 and 410 in each section.
- Minimum official ACT score of 17 or SAT score of 1340 , 990 . GSCs school code for the ACT is 3375 and our SAT code is 1259. Waived if out of high school < 2 years.

Retention Rates: Ipeds Measure
GSC is required by federal regulations to make available to current and prospective students the retention rate of certificate- or degree-seeking first-time, undergraduate students as reported to IPEDS. IPEDS calculates retention based on the first-time, full-time students in the highest degree conferred however, the BSN program is an RN-to-BSN completion program, meaning that all students in the BSN are excluded from the IPEDS formula since they have already graduated from an associates programs and become licensed RNs.
