Has anyone here attended Eagle Gate/Provo College? What was your experience like? Looking at attending for the Computer Information Systems AS, possibly followed up with Business Administration BS.

They are a shitty for-profit school that uses the same exploitative sales tactics as University of Phoenix and Everest College. The industry is not doing great and Eagle Gate is no exception. They trimmed a lot of their full time teachers at the Orem and Lehi schools last year. Take a look at the lobbying money spent and you can see that after peaking in 2012, they seem to have lost their political spending power. Enrollments are way down therefore less full time staff at the school.

If you are really interested in IT, their are a ton of free courses so that you can see if it is the right field for you r/learnprogramming posts a list of around 50 free courses that are free and start each month. Here is the last list

Also, take a look into Western Governers University if you are considering online schools. They are a Utah based online school that is not for profit and has a great reputation. I used to sell online schools so I know a little about the industry.

And if you are looking for accelerated programs, SLCC and just about every school offers additional course credits free of charge once you hit 12. So you can take 18 credits for the same price, or take summer classes if you want.
