Salisbury University Department Of Nursing
Multiple pathways to a Master of Science in Nursing degree are offered through the Department of Nursing at Salisbury University. Both an RN to MSN pathway and a traditional BSN to MSN pathway are available
The RN to MSN pathway is designed for diploma or Associates prepared Registered Nurses who may or may not also hold a Bachelors degree in a non-nursing discipline. Students complete certain general education and nursing prerequisite courses before progressing into the graduate level courses.
Regardless of pathway, students in the MSN program can choose between the following roles/specializations:

Applicants to the program must hold a diploma or Associates degree in Nursing. Applicants entering via the BSN to MSN pathway are required to hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a nationally accredited program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Dnp Mission And Philosophy
The mission of doctoral education, offering a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, is to prepare graduate nurses with advanced knowledge who will practice at the most advanced level of nursing. The graduate program of the School of Nursing derives its purpose directly from the underlying philosophy of the School of Nursing. The graduate program builds on the foundation of undergraduate and graduate education the program prepares professionally educated nurses who are capable of intellectual and professional leadership to provide high quality clinical nursing to populations, focusing on vulnerable, underserved urban and global communities.
The faculty of the School of Nursing believe that graduate education prepares the nurse with a strong theoretical foundation, and provides increased opportunities to utilize analytic methods to critically appraise existing literature and other evidence to determine and implement the best evidence for practice.
The faculty believe that baccalaureate education prepares the graduate for the emerging roles of the beginning nurse generalist and provides the foundation for graduate study. Professional nursing education is built on theoretical foundations of the humanities, liberal arts and the basic, and applied sciences. These are used in conjunction with nursing science in a creative and disciplined approach to provide nursing care under conditions of change.

Towson University Department Of Nursing
A Master of Science in Nursing degree is offered by the Department of Nursing at Towson University in the following two areas of specialization:
- Nursing Education
- Clinician-Administrator Transition
The program is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis.

Coppin State University CHP HFSON has not sought approval of its BSN program in other US jurisdictions, nor has the school been denied approval by a board of nursing in any jurisdiction.

Coppin State University Nursing School Review
Coppin State University was initially begun in 1900 as a one year teaching school in conjunction with a local high school. In 1902 it expanded to a two year program, and in 1909 it was separated from the high school to become its own school. In 1926 it was given the name Fanny Jackson Coppin Normal School, in honor of an African-American woman who pioneered teaching education.
In 1938 Coppin became a four-year school and began offering the Bachelor of Science degree. In 1950 the name was changed to Coppin State Teachers College, and in 1963 it was changed to Coppin State College as the school began offering Bachelor of Arts degrees. The College became part of the University of Maryland System in 1988, and received its last name change to Coppin State University in 2004. It is a historically black college.
Coppin enrolls nearly 4000 students in 53 undergraduate and 9 graduate programs each year. The 52 acre urban campus is easily accessible by public transportation, yet is serene with fountains and shaded walks, giving it a quiet, residential feel.

This program at the Helene Fuld School of Nursing is for students wishing to begin a career in professional nursing. The program begins in the fall semester of the junior year. University Of Maryland School Of Nursing
Multiple pathways to a Master of Science in Nursing degree are offered through the School of Nursing at the University of Maryland. They offer a Direct Entry pathway, an RN to MSN pathway, and a traditional BSN to MSN pathway.
The Direct Entry pathway is designed for students with a non-nursing Bachelors degree who would like to enter the field of nursing.
