Chamberlain College Of Nursing Review

Chamberlain College of Nursing , dating back to 1889, is one of the oldest and largest schools of nursing in the US. The college history can be further traced back to 1836, when it was established as the first Deaconess Home and Hospital of the Deaconess traditions. And even more, the founder of modern nursing Florence Nightingale was one of the pioneer students of that ancient hospital.

In 1889, Deaconess College of Nursing was established as a diploma awarding nursing school. Later on, two-year Associate and Bachelor of Science in nursing degrees were introduced. In 2005, a major transformation took place when the college was acquired by DeVry Inc. As such, the former name Deaconess was dropped and Chamberlain School of Nursing became the new name towards the end of 2006. The name of the college is derived from an English word meaning chief steward as the college is devoted to train the chief stewards of patient care nurses.

Im proud to be a student at Chamberlain university. Im a visual and auditory learner. I like to seat in class, listen to a professor. 2021 I decided to go back to school. I had two schools in mind, then finally I decided to attend Chamberlain. I was nervous because this is the first time am taking online classes. The professors are nice with great experience. Encourage you to ask questions when you need help. They will guide you through your assignment. I already took seven classes with GPA of more than 3.5. I have three classes to graduate. If you want to be a nurse that will impact your generation in a positive way chose Chamberlain.

Is Chamberlain University Good

My FNP experience with Chamberlain University

Chamberlain University is good for self-motivating students who want to graduate quickly and can benefit from an online education system. Fast-track programs require a lot of determination and commitment from students and take up a lot of their time. Online programs require students to manage on their own.

This means that students looking to go at their own pace probably wont benefit as much from this school. Tuition rates are also high at Chamberlain, this isnt the right school for students who want to obtain an affordable education.
